On the Books board, I wonder if this paragraph, from the intro to the board, is still applicable:
For a list of books that have been suggested here, please see either the US version, with links to Amazon.com, or the UK version, with links to Amazon.co.uk, of Psycho-Babble Books Suggestions (thanks, Noa and Kiddo! :-).
Are suggestions from the Books page still being filed in these folders? Are people going there to see the list of books?
Are people going to your Books page on dr-bob.org---the one linked at the very top of the Babble pages?
Thanks.

Probably not, but I don't know, I haven't been checking. I just made you a moderator in case you wanted to do something...

I don't know, those pages are on Yahoo...

Not many, those statistics I do have:

But I'm actually working on a different version of the Babble section...

It would be great if there were a way to create a page that was essentially an automatically-updating list of books that are double double quoted here. All that the list would need to contain are the double double quoted titles (ie, hyperlinked to Amazon) and the hyperlinked urls of the posts where they were mentioned. Is there a way to do this? That way, there would be an efficient way to look at titles that people have recommended over the years, with links to the archived posts that contain the comments about the books.

You read my mind, have you thought of a career in web site design? :-) But I started with links instead of books. I'm still working on it, but here's an example with posts from several boards:

Let me know what you think,

That is great!
Why do some of the links get listed as "not found"? The links do work.
ARe these added to the page automatically when someone creates a link?

I'm not sure, but I think it may have to do with the server doing the checking, as opposed to a person.

I think it might work better not to try to do it right then, but periodically, like when an archive turns over...
