Is it possible to do an author search on this site?

... the Google search box below, then click the 'Google Search' button. (Alternatively, you could type the phrase "posted by cass" *including* the double quotes).
You can narrow the search by using one or more keywords - posted.by.cass effexor - or phrases:
'posted.by.cass posted.by.dr.bob' finds every post in which you have replied to a post by Dr. Bob or vice versa. The latter example also demonstrates that this is merely a good enough approximation to an author search: it finds not only your posts but all replies to them.
If you're looking for posts before mid-2002, the Psycho-Babble-Search link at the bottom of every page is better than Google, which no longer indexes every post. Click on that link, scroll down the search page to "Options and Examples", and you'll see a proper author search (poster:cass) and much more.
I hope this helps you find whatever you're looking for :)
Jonathan.

BTW, I may delete that to free up the space...

I think all those now work with Google Search, too... :-)

I asked if there was an author search for privacy reasons. I was wondering if someone found out my PB name, could they look up everything I had written? The answer is yes. I tried the google search. It's disconcerting. My life has changed drastically. It's disturbing but inspiring to see how deeply unhappy I was when I was posting regularly, and how much more positive and happy I am now. I'm a real old-timer. I have a long history with PB although I haven't been posting much for a couple years. I haven't needed to. I haven't been depressed.
Dr. Bob, don't suppose there's anyway you could delete all my old posts? If my husband found them, he might panic. I'm concerned.

Sorry, but I don't like to delete posts. I'm glad things are a lot better now, maybe that would make your husband feel relieved?
