the previous screen.

i posted something to pb today -- a question about my david burns posts -- which i do not consider a rant, it addressed the value of medication and was balanced. i then tried to return to the previous screen to add a question mark. the system would not permit me to do so.

After confirmation you can't change anything. Before "Confirmation" but after "Submit", a trick that I found, is to use your mouse to cover all your text and do Alt-C (copy). Then, you go back, and it's still in the box so you can correct it. Don't know why, but it works. If it wasn't there you'd do ALT-v (paste) and the text would appear again. But I've found I don't need this last step. Just copying it is enough for the system to keep it in memory it seems.

Not sure if it answers your question...

"Would not permit" you? What happened when you used your "back" button? I do know that sometimes you can go "back" and find the message box reset, with your post missing...

Hmm, interesting trick!

FYI, another job on my to-do list is to redo it so that the preview page would have a message box itself, so if you wanted, you could make changes right there and preview it again (or not and just submit it).

So many changes, so little time...

OK, I made that change. There don't seem to be many complaints here, so far so good, I guess...
