I switched back from amitriptyline to notritriptyline. I'm currently taking

Venlafaxine 37.5
Nortriptyline 10mg
Lithium 300mg

I was having (seemingly paradoxical reactions) to amitriptyline (more activation and instability than on nortriptyline).

I'm not sure if it was the additional anticholinergic effect or serotonin action.
