i started taking phenibut, it does have anxiety reducing properties, and is somewhat good on the mood, but withdrawl, i took 2000mg before bed, and enjoyed the calmness, but the next morning, my short term memory was shot, i knew where i was, but it's like i had no regular mental functions thinking getting up and gathering my thoughts,, after time it came to me, but i notice if i take too much of this stuff, it has withdawl, anxiety, feeling this feeling of panic, like intense danger feeling, i don't want them to take it off the market, it's a very good remedy for people who have anxiety, and it does help with staying calm, it has low abuse potential, it just produces a calmness, not really a pleasant relaxation like benzo's, it just....smooths out anxiety well, similar to GABA, but if you take too much above 2000mg it will cause withdrawl, anxiety......but, it's the same thing with caffeine, if you drink alot there's the withdrawl, and it's nothing life threating, i hope they keep it on the market because it is a good OTC remedy for anxiety, it works well......just take 1-3 capsules, nothing more
