It's so sad. I knew someone with Lewy Body Dementia and it's an awful disease.
I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for him to not know what was wrong with him. The symptoms are muscular stiffness and difficulty moving, memory loss, sleep disorders, anxiety attacks, increased depression, hallucinations. The quote from his wife that really struck me was, "Robin was very aware that he was losing his mind and there was nothing he could do about it. For someone who was known as a comedic genius (and a member of Mensa), that had to have been unimaginably devastating.

I have an elderly relative who has Lewy bodies. She used to be upbeat, but now she's very anxious and depressed.
