I have not tried it, but it sounds interesting. Not any kind of MD just a internet researcher. Inflamation seems to be a key in a lot psyche disorders. I have Astaxanthine on order with that in mind. I figure anything that might help is worth trying. If you try the MSM please let us know the outcome.

I would look into it as well. As a CPHT who does prior authorizations for medicaid, I commonly see Lyrica or even Celebrex (anti-inflammatory) prescribed for pain alongside antidepressants, and Cymbalta for pain added on to antipsychotics. I would not replace your typical therapy with a regimen that solely addresses inflammation.
Sometimes 800mg ibuprofen can help me go from a low to a high energy day if I'm feeling beleaguered.

I read the Jacobs (I think that's the author's name; he's the guy who initially popularized/ pushed MSM in the 1990s) book 10 or 15 years ago. He pretty much claims it's a cure-all for everything. Like all "pro-supplement" books of this type, it sounds very convincing, but I certainly didn't notice anything when I took it in my trial run for anxiety or depression. I'm always wiling to revisit any supplement as I am so desperate, but I have low hopes for MSM.
I seem to also remember that MSM is a solvent that could potentially be dangerous to the kidneys in high doses (the type of doses I would not doubt have to take for effectiveness).
