I don't know how much stalk to put on this, so read this post with a grain of salt.
I'm male, 44 years old. I suffer from anxiety, panic, agoraphobia. In the past year I've tried omega 3 supplements, dental amalgam removal, insane exercise regiments, and about a year ago I raised Luvox from 50 mg to 100 mg / day. My anxiety level more or less stayed around the same.
About 2 months ago I stopped having soy milk with breakfast, something I've had for years due to lactose intolerance. I've noticed more improvement in the last 2 months than I have the whole year.
Maybe it's a coincidence. Maybe it took the new Luvox dose close to a year to work. I don't know. I just find this very curious. Been reading about estrogenic properties of soy in men.
Don't know what to think about this. Any similar experiences with soy?

If you were female I'd say a link to the soy but male? I don't know. Will do a google search on this. Did you find a better response to anxiety, agoraphobia when you went to l00mg. I added Lexapro to 25mg to try. But after two years worse. I wonder if should just up the luvox again? This soy is interesting. Phillipa

You mean you take your Lexapro and Luvox together?
Not sure that's how it's supposed to work. SSRIs are usually taken one at a time, in combination the effect may be different from intended.

Yes all meds together only at night at bedtime. Minus the synthroid. Why would it act differently. The doc knows? Phillipa
