well....im going to the doc thursday....its been a while since i've seen her...but i have to say...couple sessions ago she recommened Topamax for excessive hunger at night....and said it will work well with Lamictal which is already at 300mg...and zyprexa with it....see i have big past of drug abuse and when i stopped it i got vary vary unstable even nearly a year after abusing amphetamines...so im on triple mood stablizers and the doctor told me it will benefit in calming the thoughts....im kinda glad they took care of this so my mind is not going crazy bonkers wanting to use methamphetamine. She said these medications including Topamax will reduce the cravings.
Hopefully it willl.....but does anyone have anythoughts?

haha...but really for the first time i think this is what you call "overmedicating" its too much....mainly the zyprexa is good by itself...the lamictal was just thrown on there for an add on for depression treatment, not really a main needed med. See the doctor i see is addiction specialist, she knows all about what will happen from tolerance, future substance abuse....but she defintly is aggressive with supressing the cravings....she is pretty smart...she won't feed addiction with addiction meds...basically won't write a script for xanax for light anxiety...some people just to a doc and can get xanax easy...i've been on xanax 3 years prior to 2009....2mg three times daily, with dexedrine...it was nice for the time i had it but it came to an end and it was the worst chapter of my life being forced into psych ward stripped me of all my meds... and then an addiction treatment ranch in canton, tx...the zyprexa was the only thing that got me through it...it numbed all the horrid thoughts of withdrawl....they where brutal at the psych hosital...they let my withdrawl symptoms go...would not give me anything expect zypexa and vistiril....monsters in white coats
but anyways...i'm seriously saying this is too much medication...its not natrual...the mind is being psych operated.
