The cocktail I'm currently on now is Klonipin; Adderall and Depakote....I love the way the Depakote has helped with my mood swings and overall just keeping me balanced. I'm taking time away from my husband whom we were under so much stress, finances, place to live, finding a job and getting my kids back. I was finally able to get in with a psych and get back on my ADD meds and I think thats what opened my eyes and realized...ok nothing is happening here....so we plan on getting back together once I start nursing school and he goes to ITT Tech. He suffers from PTSD and has back problems....so....my question is Does anyone have any advice in whether I should switch to Wellbutrin? Generic or Brand? Difference? My mood would be horrible right now if it were not for the Depakote, but it's hard to sleep, eat and have a blah feeling. Been on for about two weeks. I don't want to mess up my balanced mood, my husband is in KY and me in OK I would be blowing up his phone but am able to just chill. I also heard Wellbutrin is good for focus and motivation which is me ADD all over!!! Thanks

In my experience, the two aren't in any way the same. In any way at all. Depakote would balance the effects of Wellbutrin rather than be a substitute for it. In my experience, anyway. Wellbutrin caused extreme anxiety and agitation in me.

I agree with Dinah and wellbutrin causes the extreme anxiety in me also. If stable stay the course of your meds and it's only week two. Good luck. Phillipa
