I just increased my Emsam dosage from 6mg to 9mg, and I feel like I did on Nardil; absolutely exhausted and feel very weak. These side effects did eventually subside on the Nardil, should I expect the same with the Emsam? I haven't experienced any relief from my depression, and if the side effects don't abate I may cut my trial short.

The side effects abated on each increase in my experience. I wish I could remember how quickly. Not terribly long. The dizziness upon standing, etc would lessen day by day after the first week of increase. I hope you get some depression relief soon.

P.S. emsam worked well for me-- I hope it does for you, too.

Ensam to be is the way to deliver meds with the bypass of liver first round seems safer and if the side effects get to bad can always remove the patch. Psychologically you might feel better. I hope it works very well for you. Phillipa
