I've been on 900mg of oxcarbazepine for a month and a 1/2 now.
I know blurred vision is a side effect, and I'm getting it pretty bad. Almost to the point where I cannot read my computer monitor. My doctor also noticed slight nystagmus.
My questions:
1. Will the blurred vision subside?
2. Will having drug-induced blurry vision mess up my normal vision if I keep taking this for a long period?
thanks.

If the oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) treats your condition successfully, perhaps it is worth a few dollars to get reading glasses from the drug store. That's what I did whenever I took a tricyclic. This should work if your blurry vision is a result of a disturbance of accomodation rather than diplopia. It might be worth a try.
