Im just not gonna stop my klonopin, and Im not gonna take zoloft.Im gonna continue on .5mg daily, and if Im an old lady on benzos,so be it! I eat healthy, exercise,am relaxed, happy, sleep well-so Im just not!(but I have vowed to never go over 1mg daily)IF I get depressed,I will go on an antidepressant, but hopefully, there will be something perfect for me on the market by then...

I did take zoloft for 2yrs,always with klonopin.I gained 30 lbs,and had lots of aches and pains, rls.I tapered it,am losing weight,aches/pains/rls-gone.My husband takes zoloft,my mother in law, and father in law, all do great on it. I also notice I exercise alot more since stopping z.I seem to have more energy.Ive just gotten alot of negative feed back from people in my life about taking klonopin-"its not a longterm drug, its alcohol in a glass, its a brain shrinker, its the devil" I finally decided w/pdocs approval, that i just feel "right" on klonopin. As they say,"it saved me"

I think I should add that I did experience a deep devastating depression, because I didnt treat extreme anxiety first. I had to take remeron and zoloft and klonopin to get better. So I do think antidepresants have a role to play in that situation, but I no longer am depressed,Im happy.I still have to keep my anxiety in check though, and thats where klonopin does its job so well, and no racing thoughts!I also take fish oil, exercise, sleep, try to have order to my days, and plan things to look forward to. But the hardest by far is letting my 19 yr old go,Ive done well though, but still it's a sad thing.
