Ok first the current meds for those that understand what this cocktail could be doing....
.5 mg klonopin twice a day
trileptal twice a day (I think its 100 mg)
Effexor XR 75 mg twice a day
Ambien 10 mg at nightWhy I want a switch? Still getting rebound anxiety and brain zaps....anger....short fuse....between doses of trileptal and effexor....
SIDE EFFECTS: FATIGUE in afternoon.....wake up early and feeling good though! its the 3 PM- 7 PM fatigue that Kills me and it is there regardless of klonopin dose in the PM (same with rebound anxiety.....the 2nd dose of klonopin doesn't seem to help or hurt...so sometimes I skip it....
please note any advice if you can....I go to pdoc wednesday and she is very open!I noticed an improvement with trileptal and klonopin as my rage attacks are fewer and my migraines are gone!

FM pretty sure trileptal starts at l50mg as took at one time. That is the lowest dose and can be raised much higher. So lots of room to raise the dose. And I feel you should probably take the klonopin irreguardless of whether you feel you need it. I'm guilty of same not using meds during the day. What would you like to switch to? Phillipa

You might want to consider either dropping the Effexor and using Remeron, or taking both Remeron and Effexor together
