It's the new antidepressant. A few on this board are trying...some for over a month. I'm just curious about how it's going.

I wish we could get an update as some have been on this well over a month. This is when we will know if its a good ad or not.

I'm on day 15 of Viibryd. I started taking it in place of Emsam because of low incidence of sexual side effects and E.D. Since I started my libido has decreased. Nocturnal penile tumescence is less frequent, and I feel fatigued all day long. Like dragging a ball and chain around. Insomnia is another problem. I have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep.
I was given the Viibryd starter pack 2 weeks ago and I am at the point in the regime to increase from 20mg to 40mg.
I am feeling anxiety about this dose increase. I'm thinking about giving up on Viibryd.

I started Viibryd a couple weeks ago and am on day 3 of 40mg now. No truly negative side effects so far. I am fatigued always, but that is more likely the case because I have a 2.5 month old infant. I cross tapered from Cymbalta to Viibryd and the Viibryd definitely feels better in my system so far. I just pray this med doesn't cause weight gain. I know it isn't supposed to, but you never know. So many meds claim they don't and the exact opposite occurs.
I'll keep you updated on any progress. I would love to hear about others' experiences as well.
