A very expensive gamble. My last hope. I've been on almost every drug and they make my mood worse.
Any differences are usually not for a couple of weeks.
I have a better chance because ECT helped, but less because I've been depressed forever.
I will report back in a week or two.

Sorry to not have good news yet. The staff doesn't seemed concerned that I haven't seen improvement yet, but I probably should have gotten a little better by now. I thought I was 3 days ago, but have slipped back. I also have terrible headaches from them. They say people only really have them for the first few times, but of course I am the exception. I was the first one he has prescribed loratab for (which didn't help). I need to have a higher frequency because I am on Lamictal & xanax. They determine the frequency from the initial muscle twitching test to find the right area of the brain.
The dr. was conservative with me and said about a 50% chance, but the aid said she see's an improvment in about 80%. And the people who go to the clinic are the hard to treat cases. She also said they had given up hope on on guy, but on the 20th treatment he turned around.

Alchemy, so are you aborting the trial? They haven't told you too. What are they telling you to do? Are they throwing the ball into your court?
You are half way through. Your other post sounded better. I am not talking about despair or expecting that to vanish, but you just 'sounded' somehow different.
Of course you are the exception. That's the way it goes in regards to sx and trd. One guy had improvement at 20. I say it's possible for you unless there are other factors, like the pain being to great or them telling you to stop.
I know it's your decision. I will support your decision to return to ect if need be, but I would like to know why. Is the rTMS more intolerable for you than the ect?
I am sorry if I am shouting, so I'll reduce my volume. Until I hear that it's a real no-go with the rTMS, I am going to try and see about coaxing you to the finish line.
Please let me know if I am being obnoxious.

Hi Alchemy, seeing how the past few treatments have been and if you've had any relief from headaches.
