I've been taking buspar for almost two months, but due to my lack of motivation and focus my doctor decided to put me on effexor.
I'm taking one 37.5mg pill twice a day. I'm having the usual side effects (trouble sleeping, dry mouth) but I've noticed that my pupils are HUGE. I took the day off work, but I'm worried about going back because people are definitely going to notice this (I work in retail, and the store is bright). Anyone know how long this lovely side effect will last?

mydriasis, as I learned it was called, is a side effect of effexor
you know, I wish I could tell you how long it lasts, if it diminishes over time, etc.I am one of those people who has always seemed to have larger pupils.
I will say that people at my eye doctor's office always comment on how dilated my eyes are.
it'll surely not make your eyes feel comfortable in the presence of fluorescent lighting.
I've been on effexor for a long time.are they that big??

I wish the doctor would've mentioned this...seems like the kinda thing someone might need to know hah.
Funny thing is, when I woke up today they were normal sized. As the day went on they've gotten bigger.
One other thing though, after one night with trouble sleeping...I've been pretty sleepy ever since.
