My 15 y/o daughter:

Geodon 60mg, once in the a.m., and once at night

Soltice I just googled it. It seriously sounds like it might be a better option for adhd for your Daughter as not as stimulating and a bit sedating so that might help with the irritability. Was compared to concerta and also not controlled. Give it a try. Assuming all is well with hormones as that is a horrible age for changing hormones. Good luck with your decision and the best to your Daughter!!! Phillipa

Solstice,
I only heard of it yesterday. If I hear anything more, I'll let you know.
I'm wondering if it is like strattera.
Do you want to replace the vyvnase?

Specifically, it's a selective alpha2A-adrenergic receptor agonist; a hypertensive medication. Had to get EKG clearance first. Dr. said it also helps with irritability.
She started it Saturday morning. Made her real sleepy. Slept all of Saturday, and most of Sunday. I had her switch it to evening. I wish I could get info from others who have taken it.

Solstice,
I wish your daughter the best. Hopefully someone w/ info will see your post. If not, repost.
This is ringing a bell for me--not that that helps you. Zanaflex is paired w/ stimulant therapy, and I think it may do something similar.
Sending good thoughts your way.
