Hello everyone. I'm diagnosed BP NOS..mostly mixed state and insomnia. The one protocol that almost worked was 25 mg Seroquel at bedtime and 5 mg Prozac in the AM. From about an hour after I took the Prozac till around mid-afternoon I felt pretty good. Then, I would either get too manic or too crashing feeling. When I added another noon Prozac, I definatly became dysphoric. Does anyone have a similar protocol..maybe with a different set of like drugs, but had success.
Thanks

I ytake 600 mg Seroquel with 1200 mg Lithium. Also take 200 mg Anafranil.
Thee better your mood stabilizer is working, the more success you'll have trying augmentation strategies.
BTW, sero quel is shown in studires as being verey effective at treating BP depression

thanks for all the feedback. I can't take much more than 25mg Seroquel at night, it knocks me flat out for 10 hours (I've got to go to work too). Just wondering if I upped the Prozac and took an extra 12.5 Seroquel at noon.. it might work...hate messing with myself like this. Maybe there's a better combination of drugs. Like I said I'm BP NOS (which means nothing as far as I can tell), have a tendency toward mixed states, insomnia, and depression.

Thats what I was saying, to take an extra dose in the morning. Not a big one.
