Willyee,

Congratulations on your remission! It's interesting to see that GHB is part of the cocktail that has you in remission. I'm glad that you're doing well, and I wish you continued success.

Hi Willy

>mebicar

I'm always interested in novel and humane drug developments away from the anglosphere.

Maybe I didn't take enough?

Maybe a pre-existing benzo problem made it less effective?

The one from the former communist block I really did like was Afobazol, but unfortunately it aggravated my insomnia.

GHB? Well, yeah.

willyee,

Glad to hear you are doing well. GHB worked very well for me around 10 years ago, too. Just wondering how you are able to get it legally in the US. I wish it were cheap and available around here.

>humane drug developments away from the anglosphere....

Hi Sigi,

I don't think there's any reason to believe that drug developments away from the Anglosphere are more humane.

I am particularly suspicious of Soviet medical research. There are several reasons for this....

1. Studies always show the Soviet drug in question to be effective and well-tolerated - always!

2. Studies are usually very small and badly designed.

3. The translations into English are exceptionally poor.

4. Research is often of dubious value (and humanity), for example...

'Under group interaction in cats, a new Soviet tranquilizer Mebicar eliminates fear-alarm induced by stimulatin of the emotiogenic zone of the hypothalamus.'

I don't even want to know how they were stimulating the poor cats' brains.....or how the cats were supposed to 'interact' under such conditions.
