Hi all, what is the best drug to substitute for Klonopin when doing the taper. I heard it was Valium because of the greater dose range. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think the formula is something like: your dose in Klonopin (mgs) X 20 = Starting dose for the taper. Then you reduce. There's a doctor--Ashton, I think--who has a huge website devoted to tapering benzos. You'll find more info there.
