anyone out there taking Deplin? has it helped with augmenting ssri medication?

I just asked my pdoc about it again as once took it she said you have to have a certain enzyme to metabolize it no idea what she means? Phillipa

Hello,
I have been taking 7.5mg Deplin with 60mg Cymbalta daily. My results--AMAZING!! The two definitely have a synergistic effect that works wonders for me.
Remember, normal folic acid only crosses the BBB in VERY low amounts. Levomethafolate (Deplin) crosses entirely.
It works...for me, it made the difference between life and death--literally.
