PITTSBURGH

Mylan Inc. said Monday it started selling a generic version of Lundbeck's attention deficit hyperactivity disorder drug Desoxyn.

The company said it is selling the 5-milligram generic version of the drug, also called Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, based on an agreement with licensing partner Coastal Pharmaceuticals.

Methamphetamine Hydrochloride tablets had U.S. sales of about $9.3 million in 2009, the company said, citing data from IMS Health.

Shares of Mylan fell 21 cents to $22.03 in morning trading.

Maybe new attention and Rxing willingness will follow for the ADD/HD 'wonder drug'
