Hi,
I'm on Remeron and Lyrica for sleep, but I would like to add a drug for deeper sleep.
I have tried Remeron plus Seroquel recently, but this combination of drugs was too sedating.
Now I would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with Valdoxan.
Does it make sense to add Valdoxan to Remeron and Lyrica for better sleep?
Best regards,
X-ray

Have you thought to try ramelteon (Rozerem)? As with agomelatine (Valdoxan), it stimulates M1 and M2 melatonin receptors.

I tried Valdoxan for a few days but I had to give it up. it was simply too sedating.
I cant imagine the sedation it would give if combined with Remeron.

Thanks for your reply!
Do you think that Remeron plus Rozerem might be a good combo?

remeron already antagonizes 5ht2c receptors, which are probably what improves sws with agomelatine. so, i would not anticipate improved sleep depth.
maybe just an antihistamine. though both drugs you are on already increase sws.
