So I was taking the bus today and I missed my stop, I got extremely frustrated. I was going to burst into tears, but I decided to try 40 mg of propranolol under my tongue (I had no water). Yuck! It tastes awful and it numbs my tongue! It worked immediately. I calmed down just like that and felt at peace with things. It was amazing!
Next time I will split the pill and do that sublingually. I think 40 mg was too much. I numbed my whole mouth and throat and it felt really weird. It also tasted awful!

A lot of meds work faster if taken sublingually. Especially benzos. I'm glad it worked for you!
