OTC + Prescription Nardil Anorgasmia?

Posted by marxf on July 27, 2009, at 15:13:03

So I have a doctors appointment but not until then first week of August and this is really starting to bug me.

I've been on Nardil for about 6 months now and at 60mg for about 5 months. There was a change somewhere I'll say after month 2 where I had run low on pills and had to drop myself from 60mg down to 30mg for about a week. Then I got a refill and bumped myself right back up to 60mg.

Now it seems like before this change down then back up I wasn't having the issue but I can't recall. It also seems though after the down and up from 30 to 60 is when I started to feel more benefits from the Nardil.

So now I've been 5 months at 60mg and the anorgasmia hasn't gone away. I really feel a lack of sensation which then causes problems with keeping an erection which was never the case before. I'm guessing it's all tied together with a lowered sex drive and anorgasmia.

At this point I can reach orgasm but it takes a long time and is requires non stop action to happen which just doesn't work. The minute I stop things go bad.

Obviously it's frustrating and I need some help. Are there any over the counter options I can take that will help me until I can see my doctor? When I do see the doctor what are the best options for something?

I read a little about cabergoline on here but don't know much about it. I've also seen Wellbutrin being suggested and wondered if that is a safe option?

If anyone could help that would be awesome. OTC advice asap would be great. Perscription advice is also needed but won't be going for a week.

This is the end of the thread.
