I was on pristiq for about 2 months and doing really well with it (and remeron, seroquel, klonopin, gabapentin, risperadone and provigil ENOUGH ALREADY!) Then it began to poop out and my pdoc raised me to 100mgs saying some docs have found that pts with treatment resistant depression need the higher dose. I've been alternating 50mg one day, 100mg the next for 2 weeks and am now going to 100mg daily.
Anybody else been bumped up on it? Has anyone found it helpful? I hope.Zana
Don't you sometimes wonder (hope) it's all the meds that are causing the problems?

Hi Zana, not many experienced pristiq users posting, though there sure seem to be many pristiq threads. Sorry I can't help with info--I take 50. May I ask why your doc has you take 100 on alternate days?
