I'm on 60mg Parnate each day. I find that after an extended period of sitting or lying down, upon standing I experience slight imbalance and partial hearing loss that dissipates after about 2 minutes.
I really don't think these are serious SEs, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced them and, if so, what they did about it.
Thanks.

Sounds like good ol' fashioned postural hypotension to me - ie. low blood pressure when standing. I've never taken an MAOI but I have had it whilst on a tricyclic and after smoking dope.
I seem to remember my hearing dulling slightly too on occasion when I've had it really bad.

I would agree with Sowhysosad. Both dizziness and dulled hearing can be the results of experiencing a transient decrease in blood pressure when standing up. You might even see black for a few seconds.
