try 5mg of selegiline with your parnate

there's always a tca, or strattera, something noradrenalin focused

and re: your previous post. i'm currently taking amineptine from the only public source. have had no problems with it since istarted a week ago. but also not feeling a response yet either.

What about a higher dose? Some people need and take 120mg, for example.

I don't know what augmentors you have tried. If you want to try another one, try to go with things that are not in the same family as what you already have tried. If Nortriptyline and Desipramine have both been tried, forget the TCAs. Even if you don't have anxiety, try Klonopin. Risperdal or Zyprexa offer some unique receptor blocking that can spark life into a wide variety of other meds. Not good by themselves, but often very good with other meds. Synergistic.

And of course the whole lifestyle thing plays into it bigger than we think. You know, that boring stuff like super good food choices, strenuous exercise, regular sleep schedules. I believe that only in lucky cases, temporary cases, or rare cases, does great mental health come solely from pills. We have to give the pills a massively good foundation to work upon, much more so than a healthy person.

Just thinking out loud.

Have you tried Deplin or Cytomel? Deplin didn't do much for me, but Cytomel seems to be helping.

What haven't I tried? Good question. There's not enough space here to go through all of the meds I've been on. If it is available in the U.S., I've likely tried it, sometimes multiple times.

Right now I'm on Parnate 60mg, Xanax 4.5mg, Cytomel 50mcg, and Lunesta/Ambien. My psydoc prescribed Cytomel (no, I don't have hypothyroidism) to augment the Parnate since Deplin didn't do much in terms of assisting its effectiveness. The Xanax addresses the more physical aspect of my anxiety.
