What medication caused the most undeireable side effects?
What medication caused beneficial side effects?
What combonation of meds worked the best for you?
Do you still take the medication/medications that worked for you?If so for how long?If not why did you stop?

Hi,
You might want to create a poll/survey on an application such as Quibblo.com, then post the link here for us. I can't remember the names of the good poll services.
I'll answer your questions if it will help. Although you might be better off going to askapatient.com or other places for ratings/information that already exists.
What single medication was the most effective for your anxiety/depression?
- Wellbutrin (depression)
- Xanax (anxiety)What medication caused the most undeireable side effects?
- Prozac
What medication caused beneficial side effects?
- Wellbutrin (are beneficial side effects the same as treatment outcome of symptoms?)
- all the ones that workedWhat combonation of meds worked the best for you?
- Effexor/Wellbutrin for depression
- no combo worked for anxietyDo you still take the medication/medications that worked for you?
- No.
If so for how long?If not why did you stop?
- I was prescribed these meds for major depression and PTSD about 8 years ago, although that was a temporary condition. I developed severe anxiety and cognitive issues since then, but was still treated based on my initial diagnosis. I have stopped meds several times for this reason--the meds I was being subscribed were more debilitating than the disorder itself, although when it completely incapacitated me, I could use alcohol with much less side effects.
Of course what works for me won't necessarily work for others with a different brain chemistry..although overall I believe some drugs are just better than others.
