Hello,
I just started Abilify a couple weeks ago. Thinking of maybe asking the doc to reduce my dose to see if that helps w/ some slight restlessness I'm having.
Anyway I just got done buying a whole bunch of 15mg pills (not cheap). Also have samples of 15mgs. I'm wondering since the half life is so long (36+hrs?) if taking a 15mg pill every other day would be almost equivalent to taking 7.5 every day?
Of course I'll check w/ my doc before doing this but just wondering if this would be one dosing possibility....
So far I think it's working pretty well aside from the restlessness. Hoping I can reduce that w/ a slightly reduced dose.

That might work out - I've taken it every other day at times. But why not just chop the 15 mg tabs in half? I break the 5 mg tabs in two.

if you have trouble halving it, you can buy a pill spliter from your pharmacist for a few dollars

It's been a good medication so far but usually I'm either really tired or restless. Need to find that middle ground.
