As a few of you know, part of my depression comes from chronic pain. I had a mastectomy when I was 31 and the surgery was botched and I've lived with pain for about 30 years. I've had numerous revisions on the surgery site and it still hurts. I've been to four management clinics with no results.
I asked my primary physician about Flexeril. Most of my pain comes from muscle spasms. He prescribed it for me and I am taking one 10mg.twice a day. The relief is unbelievable! The stress of the pain causes more pain and that causes more depression and on and on and on. My Pdoc gave me Buspar to lessen the anxiety and I think I may have some pain free days now and again! I had one yesterday! After I got home and settled in, it hit me! No PAIN!
Please cross your fingers.
If you hate Flexeril or know someone who broke their leg skiing while taking it.....don't post it here.
I don't create a med thread to create a fight amongst the believers and the non-believers.
I am sharing good news!

Well don't think you have a protrate so not enlarged nor preganant sounds like a good med. Thought I'd add a bit of humor to lighten the topic a bit hope that was okay. Phillipa
