Any feedback on Buspar combined with an SSRI? in my case Prozac.
I'v read and learned Buspar added to SSRI:
-Augments ADs
-Reduces nightmares, excess sweating
-Reduces sexual SEs.Any comment would help.

Hello Dade,
I have been on Buspar for 15 years.
It's a mild drug that has few side-effects.Buspar is good for anxiety.
Adding Buspar to an SSRI makes the SSRI work better (Crazymeds).So far, so good.
However, I have been on a few of the SSRI-drugs myself.The result was a complete loss of my libido.
I will never touch a SSRI-drug again.By all means, try Buspar.
But I don't think it will do wonders for your libido.Best regards,

I like buspar with an SSRI about 10mg/per day seems to work for me. It's just a subtle relaxing effect which I may prefer to use when my anxiety is up than something stronger than xanax

I am on 90mg of buspar (seriously) and 200mg of zoloft. It has done wonders as an addition to zoloft for my anxiety and depression.

Wow 90mgs? did you add that to Z or both together? it's hard to know what hep it gives ha?
