i.e., listen to my own body and emotions, rather than what the pdoc says.
Anyway, I gave it a good two months, but boy, was it not working. Even worsening my depression, I think. I got to the point on Monday where I couldn't speak (always one of the big symptoms for me, it just seems so futile when I'm depressed).
So I switched back to Welloft and four days later I feel 100% better. (Maybe partly a placebo effect, but who cares?) I will be lucky if it still works the same, and I'm lucky it's worked for so long now.

Hey that's great it's still working. Did you inform your pdoc you were switching back? Love Phillipa

It just wasn't doing anything for depression. I was doing pretty well on Zoloft and Wellbutrin, but got progressively sadder and more anxious once I transitioned to Remeron. Then got nonfunctional and suicidal in about the fourth week.
This is the end of the thread.
