hi, seroquel pooped out, now what i read here is adding memantine will get the stimulant effect back
warning i am suffering from psychosis wich is stable with seroquel, but the stimulant effect is gone,i need experts on this if its safe for me to do this and what dosage should i take

When you say memantine will get the simulant effect back, well, that is like saying prozac will make someone not depressed. Yes for someone, no for someone else. Does memantine have the potential? Yes.
The starter pack says 5mg for 4 days, then 5mgs twice a day for 4 days, then 15mgs 4 days, with a goal of 20mg. But, others here and in case studies have found results were achieved at 30mg-40mg but not 20mg. It has been used safely and with benefit in combination with antipsychotics. So you kind of have to disregard the manufacturer insert and shoot higher, if a lower dose doesn't do what you want.
And as you may have seen in a long thread previously, take a good look at Glycine. Lots of potential there for you. As you look forward and put meds and plans on your radar screen, keep Glycine at the top of the list.
Since you said you wanted experts advice, well, then I offer a disclaimer...I am not an expert. But for that matter, neither are your doctors or anyone else. All of psychiatristy is educated guesswork. Well, I take that back a bit, they are expert guessers.
Seroqeul+Memantine? Sure. Makes more sense to me than staying limited with just antipsychotics. The people I've read about that recovered the best from complicated psychosis+depression took two or three meds together, with only one of their cocktail meds being an antipsychotic. The others in the cocktails were things like benzos, tricyclic antidepressants, remeron, and memantine.
Glycine.

From my own experience with Seroquel, and a host of other things, and a memantine trial for my memory loss problems, when I reached 20mg, something started happening with my mm... I can't characterize it as exactly psychosis but things were definitely wrong in my worldview, I was more disconnected than I am normally.
This is only one case view, so don't take it as whether you should or should not take Namenda, but I'm not quite sure why you want to continue to want to try it. It is a noncompetitive NMDA antagonist. So is amantadine. But other things that antagonize NMDA include ketamine as well. Confusion is a possibility with Namenda, but that takes into account I suppose the mostly elderly trial population if I remember.
Blunting is a part of just about all antipsychotics to a varying extent in people. It is probably a wanted thing actually for those who are heavily hearing voices and the like but it generally is unwanted because one feels a bit disconnected and out of it.Some people take caffeine -- but that causes problems with the sleep cycle too, and I'm not advocating that as a solution.
There's Provigil, and other things, but some stimulants can aggravate psychosis, so that would be my caution I guess.
