i dont think so the more drugs we take the more are brains get fried.i think im on autopilot at the minute. if you get of meds things are clearer . then you may see things you didnt want to anyway. ride with it my buddy its part of the illness,i remember things years ago, but yesterday i would have to ask what day it was. manic666

Hydergine is supposed to be good for memory. Piracetam and sometimes a hydergine/piracitam combination. The PHd author of Amalgam Illness said Hydergine cleared his brain fog when he was undergoing mercury detox. It is a popular cognitive enhancer and easily available. Just do a search on it to learn more. It's in a class of drugs called nootropics, or smart drugs.

Hi Tep
Aniracetam is the best I've tried, but is a bit of a strain.
Hydergine makes me feel generally better (in a small way) but doesn't improve my memory.

Check out acetylcholinesterase inhibitors such as the supplements huperzine A and galantamine. Galantamine is also available in medication form as Razadyne and Nivalin. Two other similar medications are donepezil (Aricept) and rivastigmine (Exelon).
I would think twice about using Hydergine long-term. Although it can improve memory, it is an ergoloid mesylate and they have been implicated in causing cardiac problems.

I haven't checked out any of these supplements or medications to make sure that they're compatible with MAOIs so you would need to do that.
