Hi everyone,
I have taken the following lines from a post at Revolution Health:
"Remeron works even better and will not "poop" out if it is combined with Fish Oil (Omega-3).
They work in a similar fashion on increasing the firing of the neurotransmitters.
When Omega-3 and Remeron are taken together the results are amazing."Are there any "babblers" out there in the cyberspace with first hand knowledge about this subject?
Best regards,
X-ray

I have taken remeron and omega-3 and can agree there is some synergy.
Omega-3 increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin in certain brain regions. Both remeron and omega-3 share the ability to increase dopamine in the prefrontal cortex.
The omega-3 fatty acids have documented antidepressant and mood stabilizing effects.

Wow, good to know. I have been taking fish oil to wean off my effexor, as I read that it works with that.
I also take remeron 45mg. Maybe thats been helping me, I have been feeling pretty ok for weaning off one med and being on a new med.
thanks Copper
