I have been taking EMSAM since Apr. '07. Worked great at 9 mg. Increased to 12 mg in anticipation of Winter Blues. Did well until Feb. '08. There has been a slow but steady loss of effect since then. We tried to reduce back to 9 mg because anxiety had increased, but the anti-depressant, Anti- social anxiety effects are nearly gone.
Any one else?

My doc believes anything is possible with antidepressants. She has one patient that gets very very sleepy on EMSAM and I get terrible insomnia. Klonopin helps.

I didn't expect any help for social anxiety from EMSAM either, but it was more pronounced than anytime in my life.
I have tried Wellbutrin twice. I get intolerably anxious and can't sleep. The drugs that have worked the best are the ones that tinker with my dopamine.
