I have some good news at last. My social worker just dropped in with a packet of 14 zopiclone tablets, prescribed by the delectable Dr. B who first saw me in hospital. He has agreed to see me next Thursday, and with any luck will agree to take me on as a patient. He said he remebered the conflict between me and the odious Dr. W, and after listening to my plight he advised that I continue with the zopiclone. My social worker pointed out that that was the problem - Dr. W wouldn't give me any more, so he said "Oh, well I just so happen to have a prescription pad on me... Here's 14 to see him through". (((Dr. B))) (((Social worker))).
I'll be so glad to see the back of Dr. W. The only snag is that Dr. W, like all professional sociopaths, has placed himself at the head of the channels through which all information flows. In order to transfer me to Dr. B, we will have to get my GP (who is very much cut of the same mold as Dr. W) to write to Dr. W (who just so happens to be director of consultants...) to ask his permission for the transfer. I just hope we can get away from him for good.
