I am a long-time Nardil user that has never had a serious hypertensive crisis, but now that I have kids I want to take every precaution I can for their sake.
Two things I would like to do:
1) Put a medical info card in my wallet in case of an emergency. What info should appear on the card?2) Get an emergency pill from my pdoc that can be carried with me in case of a hypertensive crisis. Does anyone know what options are available? Thorazine?
Thanks,
DLA

>For hypertensive crises, sublingual nitroglycerin is likely to be the most rapid in its onset of action. However, nifedipine seems to be more popular.
For serotonin syndrome, cyproheptadine (Periacitn) is probably the best choice. Chlorpromazine (Thorazine) is an alternative.
