I've been on 30mg remeron for just over a year now and it has worked great in treating my mild depression and insomnia. In the last month or so, it has started to decrease my libido. I'm a 29 year old female and have never had problems with my libido, it's been quite the contrary until lately. Has anyone ever experienced a reduced sex drive on Remeron? or perhaps on prelonged use of it? I've read that this is one of the SSRI's that is not supposed to affect the libido, but I can't think of anything else that can be effecting it to this degree. Any experiences? recommendations?

Hello MaryJo,
On the contrary, Remeron really increased my sex drive... but then again, I only tried it out for 3 months... and not a year as you did.
What really gave my sex drive a jump start again was Abilify... I don't know if the two can be taken together, however.
