I just started Neurontin at 100mg 3 times a day. It's making me really drowsy. I was told I had to take daytime doses or the drug wouldn't work.
I was wondering if this sedation wears off with time...I'm really hoping it will.
I know there are some drugs like Geodon (which I am on) and Paxil(which I have taken) which will always make you sleepy regardless of how long you have been taking them for.
I am hoping Neurontin is not like that and that the drowsiness will wear off in time.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences..

For me, the sleepies did wear off after a short bit. I take 1 100 mg in the morning and 2 100 mgs at night. The night dose used to knock me out, but after a short time, it didn't do that. Hope this helps in some way!!
