California HMO contract Dr. agreed to treatment plan with my 14 year old daughter using Zoloft then gave her two other medications that caused her to hallucinate.
Haloperidol/cogenten will not subdue panic and anxiety, but Zoloft will.
Anyone know an attorney?

You are saying the doctor prescribed Haloperidol/cogenten when he said he would prescribe zoloft?

have you spoken to the doctor about what happened? did he switch the drugs intentionally or was it a mistake? if intentionally, did he have good reasons for switching. if so, what didn't he inform you daughter of the change in plans? did your daughter know that she was taking different meds than what she had been promised? and finally, did your daughter suffer any tangible harm from her hallucinations or any other effects from the meds? this is important because to recover against the doctor, you would have to demonstrate concrete harms that can be monetorized fairly precisely.
sorry i don't know of any lawyers in CA. if you haven't already, though, i would speak with the doctor.
good luck. keep use posted.
