I started Geodon last summer at 20 mg daily and almost immediately felt much better. AFter two weeks I had to go to 40mg. Then after two weeks up to 60. Then to 80, then to 100. During all this time I felt great. I was basically asymptomatic except for some mild anxiety. When I had to raise it to 120 I got so hyper and feeling like I was going to jump out of my skin that I had to reduce the dosage and was off it for a while. Now I'm on 40 mg daily and it doesn't seem to be doing anything much.
Has anyone else experienced this poop out effect from Geodon?

i had great luck around 60-80 and eventually got to 160...its pooped out to say the least...everything has...i feel like it holds me back...i think im misdiagnosed BP and would do anything to be manic right now...no suck luck with Geodon....great for mania, but for depression? some have had great luck...but for me, the higher the dose, the worse i felt.....go figure....titratiing down slowly...

Yeah, I had to lower the dose really slowly too. It's a shame it pooped out. The six months or so that I was on it were the only period in the last three years I felt human.

Well its theoretically possible that the same dose of Seroquel I take now isn't working to put me fully in "this reality" (like I could "snap into things" -- I mean I'm high functioning and have no problem with conversations, that's not the issue, its an esoteric feeling of... flat) (no I don't have true psychosis, I have a very rare somatiform disorder), on the other hand I had several traumatic experiences I needn't describe and ER visits so there's a lot of psychological things going on too.

No, no weight gain. Most of the time too scared / anxous too eat.
