im getting ready to go back on my meds. was on:
WellbutrinXL
Zyprexa
Ritalin
Xanaxi would prefer to just start one at a time (except xanax...that's prn)
wasn't sure the best way to start. my doc didn't specify he said i could do all at once or one at a time.thing is after having a baby i've already gained xx lbs! so i want the most effective for no weight gain. i was thinking wellbutrin first, then Ritalin, then zyprexa.
any suggestions?

I guess the question is is the depression the worst or anxiety? I think in my opinion only that a call to the doc to ask which first is in order. Just my thought and good luck to you. Phillipa

I'd say call your doctor. The only problem in that group is that Wellbutrin and Ritalin can act together to reduce your seizure threshold a great deal, and that can be dangerous. I think, but can't remember, that my doctor wanted me to be pretty stable at 300mg before starting Ritalin at 5mg. And that doctor was not willing to go back up to 450 of WB if I was staying on stimulants, although my current pdoc has no problem with that.

Sounds like a good order. You might want to increase doses slowly, especialy for zyprexa, so you don't gain as much weight.

thanks for the info folks.
i had asked my pdoc and he said it was up to me. and just call if had any 'issues'.
so i think i'll just start with an AD for a few weeks, then Ritalin and maybe a week after that (unless issues) ill do the zyprexa.
