There are a couple of drugs i have started then stopped then started again. And the second time is never like the first...sorry i can't provide a theory, but i've had the same thing happen to me as well.

2 weeks is a bit short in psychiatric time with the theory of neuroplasticity. I'm also finding it "not working the same" but I think its a matter of time.Seroquel XR has just been released, I dont know if that would make a difference.

You might want to give it more time, to start working. Maybe take a higher dose for a while. Thats what I had to do with zyprexa, after quiting the Abilify. I think the Abilify made me worse, and the zyprexa didn't seem like it was doing anything at first, it took much higher doses for a while to get any effects that were noticable.

Giving things more time can be far better than raising the dose on a neuroleptic. But that varies by the case and the need. What works at one point for a psychoactive substance may take time at another point due to neuroplasticity, the sensitization to transmitters in the brain, a subject I don't even fully comprehend so I'm not going to post information without a medical degree.
This is the end of the thread.
