I have been taking tianeptine 3x a day for awhile, while it may be somewhat helpful, has anyone had moderately more success by adding an extra dose per day, that is 4 x a day?
Also, does anyone find that is helpful for anxiety? I can't say that I have, just wondering.

I don't find much difference between taking it 3 and four times per day.Yes, I do find it useful for anxiety. Not a lot, but definitely a noticable amount that helps me be functional. Been on it well over a year.

Psychobot do you remember how long it took for the anxiolytic effect to kick in?

>For me, it began having an effect at about 3 days, and reached peak effect by 2-3 weeks. But I believe I tend to respond fairly quickly to antidepressants, in general.

thanks psychobotI have been on it for two weeks now and it makes me more anxious rather than less. I think this anxiety is less than when I first began it though and I am hoping it will go away when I get the full antidepressant effect (if I do get any).

Does anybody knows how it works or is it not known yet? I mean it is a SSRE, it possesses a mode of action that is exactly the opposite from a SSRI. It would be logical by anyone to assume that this drug should actually CAUSE depression, while it is not!
