I still don't get how you can just drop without weaning 4mg of xanax and start wellbutrin xr how come there is no withdrawal and the anxiety is convered. It goes against everything I've read here. Love Phillipa

What difference does it make Phillipa? Even if it's true-- and you may not know the whole story with your neighbor-- (did you talk to her directly?)-- it would be unusual. There may be some way she does or doesn't react to xanax, that no body particularly understands. Lots of drug reactions aren't really understood at this point-- and people differ markedly.
The main thing is to accept your reactions, as okay-- and not to question them.
I'm really glad that you went up to 100 mg on the Luvox without any reactions that were a problem. That's a very good step.

I know the feeling Phillipa. I can't understand how a 5 year old can take 40 mgs Adderall/day but as a healthy grown man if I take even 7.5 mgs I'll be in the emergency room. Or why I'm the only person in the world who gets severe chest pain from even a baby dose of SSRI. Ya just have to learn focus on yourself. Peace...Saturn.

Feeling the same. And I did talk directly to her. So that means if she can do that its not strange that I could just stop 5mg of valium which I did. Love Phillipa
