my doc upped my meds from 0.5 in the moring to 2 of them in the morning to see if he knock out the anxiety which is Clonazepam along with taking 40 mgs of paxil 20mgs in morning in 20 morning before bed then he added reglan with it 10 mgs to help settle the stomach if this doesnt work he is going to add welbutrin with the mixed has anyone been on this mixed of drugs and help them. Please help me Suebird

>Wellbutrin and klonopin is pretty standerd i think,wellbutrin is a active and pretty stumulating drug,with the thinking of hitting ur depression hard with it.
The klonopin he prob wants to address various forms of anxiety,and social issues that wellbutrin wont touch,klonopin is just about a "gold standerd" for anxiety.
Also its likly even if wellbutrin works youll experiance some residue anxiety from it simply working,so personaly i believe that combo is a good plan,its also a combo i believe i seen mentioned often on various sites.
The use of paxil with wellbutrin i have idea on why,but seems a bit odd to mix these two,but i dont believe anything out of the ordinary,pretty standerd solid regimine attempt.

Will you usually read of wellbutrin and effexor. Do you know why that is such a popular combo? As effexor sent me through the roof? Love Phillipa

The Paxil is serotinergic, and the Wellbutrin hits dopamine and norepinephrine, so combining the two makes a lot of sense.
Of course, I'm not a big fan of Paxil, so I'd probably say Zoloft and Wellbutrin, or Lexapro and Wellbutrin, but that's just me. If the Paxil is working, there's no reason to monkey with it.

Wasnt familiar with welbutrin added to most ssris,id think that would be a irrtating combo itself,but then again i dont remeber much about ssris,first because of the time frame in which ive stopped them,second because i dont follow them much in reading.
So ill keep my comment to simply the use of wellbutrin and klonopin,if opted i personaly wouldent be concerned of this choice,but as always use your judgment in all final decisions,including choosing to address why with the doc,if you have a good one,they wont blow you off and actualy explain their thinking in its use.
I agree i need to refrain from ssri comments as im partial in view to them,so disregrard that please.
Either way personaly in my view only sounds like your doc is on a reasonable track.

Never read of the two being used much,but that doesent mean anything.
I have heard of remeron and effexors combo,there is even a nickname for it i believe.
Effexor alone is from my experiance a powerful powerful drug,knowing what i know from using it i wouldent want anything but a benzo with it,but ive seen radical changes in its use since i used it which as many moons ago.
