I'm still looking at alternatives for my depression and strattera was thought to be a good med since it acts as a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor and may help me since I have felt a key component of my depression is lack of focus, concentration and memory issues and Adderall has worked in the past for these problems.
Currently I'm on Emsam and Abilify and wonder if Strattera can be added to these meds?
Please help with info on Strattera and what other meds are compabible with it, like AD's. Can you take it with Nardil or Emsam?
Thanks in advance....Stargazer

> Thanks in advance....StargazerI certainly couldn't tell you whether it would be safe with EMSAM -and- abilify...but my experience with it was as follows.
Mild euphoria after first dose, increased interest in things for the first several hours, but this effect counterbalanced by tiredness.
The positive mood and interest (and thus, indirectly, concentration) effects gave diminishing returns very quickly, though. By a week out, it was no longer helpful. I'm also not sure whether its mechanism of action is all that certain.
Just my personal experience.
